Itinarery

DAY 1 ARRIVAL
Arrival at Muscat Airport, meet & greet and transfer to Golden Tulip Seeb for breakfast. Continue the journey northwest and discover the ancient village Nakhal, home to one of Oman’s most magnificent forts, dramatically situated atop a small natural rock at the edge of the Jebel Akhdar Mountains. Dated back to the pre-Islamic times, the structure of the impressive fortification was continuously remodelled over the following centuries and comprehensively restored in 1990. Admire the beautiful surroundings of the orchards of palm trees and witness the source of the natural springs in Al Thowara Oasis. Proceed to Jabal Akhdhar via Wadi bani Awf and check in the hotel.

DAY 2 NIZWA CITY TOUR
Visit Nizwa, one of the oldest cities in the country and once Omani capital during medieval times. Enjoy the spectacular landscapes of the Hajar Mountains and the green oases of Fanjah and Birkat al Mauz before reaching the historic town. Once arrived in the second-biggest tourist destination Oman’s, explore the imposing Nizwa fort built in the mid-17th century and famed for its 40m-tall round tower. It’s worth climbing to the top of the tower to enjoy a superb panoramic view of Nizwa, plain surrounded by a thick palm oasis and Oman’s highest mountains. Move to the famous Nizwa Souq, which is home to locally crafted goods, such as stunning silver jewellery and silver khanjars (a traditional dagger). From here, the tour proceeds to Jabrin Castle, the finest of Oman's fortifications built in the late 17th century. Admire the beautifully painted ceilings of the castle and intricate wood carvings. On the way back to Nizwa, take a photo of Bahla Fort, the oldest and first Omani fort to be built in the Islamic style.
